Well, I've been in the studio pretty non-stop with a band that I really like.  My brain is a bit of a whirlwind of contemplation right now.  I am being able to focus, though, so that's good.  I think I've decided to really stop smoking except under a few pre-determined circumstances.  My heart has been acting a little funny and I want to take any unnecessary strain off of it. My week will start slowing down on Wednesday and I'll be in the studio alone again because my band is leaving. Umm...I guess that's it unless I wanted to write a book and since this is a journal entry and not a book, I guess I'll call it good for now and say au revoir.

Art has always been a part of my life, and I've always thought of it as another language (the language that I actually can communicate clearly in), but never understood fully what all was happening when I communicated in artforms, and I don't know if I ever will understand.  However, I have come to understand a little better over the past week as people have listened to some of my new music.  It's the most honest and emotional music I've ever written, and it seems to be speaking not just the words I wrote and sang, but also the deeper meaning of what was going on in my life at the time when I wrote the songs.  People are contacting me with fe
